Mary's Family Reunification Comments:

I thank all of you for visiting my Web site. Share it with others. Please feel free to e-mail me with questions or comments. My address is mlfoess@Gmail.com  I wish to especially thank all the people who have helped me over the past twenty-six years. This includes my family who raised me (McCallum/Letts), my biological families, my husband  and children, my collegues at school, my pen pals, and my friends. The results and the satisfaction I have received from the 'strange odyssey of an Armenian girl' have surpassed any expectations I once had during the onset, fall of 1983. I have grown tremendously since then in all ways possible. The discoveries went beyond anything I could have imagined, or, expected. The most important thing I learned is to understand that love multiplies, never divides. You cannot have too many good people in your life, yet faith in God is the best gift anyone can experience. I encourage all of you to pursue your dream - - he who hesitates is lost. In the future, I plan to continue to work with the state of Michigan legislators re: adoption code reform here. I will assist others in any type of geneology research if requested.

Yours truly,

Mary L. MOVSISIAN-LETTS Foess

Mary's Book Description

MY ARMENIAN GENESIS: THE LAST SURVIVOR

A primal scream erupted in the Charity Ward of Providence Hospital in Washington, DC,1945. Crying out for Mother, baby Movsisian felt her loving grip for only minutes after birth. Judy's bassinet was wheeled away, then hidden, once her birth blood was washed away. Her family was nearly destroyed in the Armenian Genocide; only 3 survived from Nor Kegh, Charsandjak, Kharpert, in the Euphrates River Valley. They emigrated to the U.S.A. in 1913 and 1921. Fate determined that this newborn would be the last one to inherit the family name. Cloaked in secrecy, Mary's identity remained a secret from her until she was 38! Mary did not know that Armenians had origins from the cradle of civilization and were the first people to accept Christianity. Her birth records were sealed, then falsified. How did she find her family? Mary's tenacity resulted in her discovering 'something.' How did THE LETTER, written 9-17-1945,and hidden inside an old box in a closet, yet found by accident 42 years later, solve Mary's mystery?
