MY ARMENIAN GENESIS:
THE LAST SURVIVOR

Please be patient when opening any pages/tabs as pictures take a little longer to open.

In my life, I wear many hats; daughter, sister, niece, wife, mother, aunt, and grandmother, to name a few. I am blessed to have four adult children and five grandchildren in my life.

Other than writing, I have many interests which include genealogy, the out-of-doors, animals, physical fitness, reading nonfiction books, music, history, and friendships. I am proud to be a member of the Armenian International Women's Association after I uncovered my heritage. I am also affiliated with the Retired Teachers' Book Club, the Vassar Historical Society, Michigan Thumb Area Big Brothers Big Sisters, Incorporated, the St. Michael's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Richville, Michigan, the Michigan Education Association for Retired Teachers, and the Fauquier Heritage and Preservation Foundation of Marshall, Virginia. I also work as an unpaid lobbyist for adoption code reform in the Michigan legislature.

I had my biggest surprise in my genealogy research when I recently discovered that I was a descendant, on my father's side, of the greater Washington, D.C., Powhatan Indian tribe, the one which includes Pocahontas and also the Piscataway American Indian tribe along with the Piscataway Indians of Maryland.

I love to hear from my readers and fans. If you would like to contact me to converse about my book or Armenian culture, please use this email at

The Armenian culture is known to be one of the earliest civilizations on Earth. It has retained its identity for over 5,000 years. Nearly half of the world's population of Armenian people was destroyed during the Armenian Genocide of 1915-1923. Armenians were the very first people to accept Christianity, as this faith/belief system was adopted as their state's official religion. If you are interested in obtaining more information on Armenian history, culture, people, or religion, you may visit the following sites http://www.cilicia.comhttp://armenianprelacy.org/;
